Fur-Giving Hearts Rescue

Every Heart Matters...Foster, Adopt,

Donate or Volunteer

Because we are such a small rescue trying to accomplish great things we depend on our community for support and volunteering. Our Volunteer Coordinator Christin Tasler is one of the most animal loving people you will ever meet. She loves working with animals and getting them ready for their fur-ever homes. One of the things we love about Christin is that she not only loves to see the animals learn she loves to educate people on how to better manage the relationship between families and their pet before adoption and even after they get settled in. She is a trainer at one of our favorite places to send your pup, Circle Star Pet Resort and Training Facility. She has worked with many or our dogs in the Half-way Home program they have established to help our dogs, and dogs in other rescues in the area become more obedient and more adoptable. Christin loves working with people and animals alike. We know you will find her pretty amazing and easy to work with as you volunteer with our rescue. We have many ways you can get involved with FGHR even if you are not able to contribute monetarily and you are not able to foster. Volunteering is very rewarding and makes a positive impact with our animals and it helps us tremendously. We often are called to assist in situations where animals are in a great deal of need, whether it be from a hoarding situation, neglect or abuse. We also try to get involved in assisting our fellow area rescues when we have the resources and volunteers to do so. Our adoption events are a great way to get the whole family involved. We also offer community service hours to students who are in programs with area schools that require them to get involved in their community. Volunteering is a wonderful way to teach a child responsibility, to love and respect animals and it helps build self esteem in young adults knowing they have made a positive impact in the lives of the animals and others. So do something together as a family and help us make a difference in our community and in the lives of these animals. Please reach out to Christin and ask how you can get involved. We look forward in seeing you at our next adoption event!!
